Experts of distillation angeing of spirits since 1954, the distillation masters at Château du Breuil used their savoir-faire, their boldness and sensibility to imagine a unique and high quality single malt whisky. With Le Breuil whisky, La Spiriterie Française, Château du Breuil – Normandie managed to create the first french single malt whisky produced 100% Golden Promise barley, a varieta well known to make intense malty whiskies, long and silky.
Variété emblématique des années 1960, la Golden Promise est l’orge utilisée dans l’élaboration de whiskies de renommée mondiale.

PEATY FINISH
Color : pale gold
Bouquet : slightly smokey, with undergrowth notes, laurel and fresh cereals. Wood is grilled and roasted.
Palate : peat is more expressive and encompasses aromas of black pepper, grapefruit and cardamom. A great finesse in finale with flavours of pralins, exotic fruits and vine peach. Finesse and peat veil. Complex and persistant length.
SHERRY OLOROSO FINISH
Color : amber copper
Bouquet : walnut, plum, hazelnut and licorice along with the sweetness of malty flavours and the lightness of a woody vanilla.
Palate : in attack appear flavours of leaven, cocoa and fresh figs. Profile then gets more complex with notes of kirsch cherries, red fruits and candied oranges. Sweetness and gourmet mix in together in a nice full-rounded flavour.
ORIGIN
Color : pale gold
Bouquet : caracterised with fresh malt notes, white fruits (peach and pear), de hazelnut and a delicate woody flavour.
Palate : you feel first aromas of sweet almonds and linseeds ; then enhanced with flavours of bassword, vanilla and dried fruits. Natural sweetness. Palate is fresh and silky.
