The Diwisa Willisau distillery innovates, with their first rye whisky. All the ingredients come from Switzerland, be it local rye, water or wood for the barrels. After distillation in small batches, the Swiss Pure Rye ends its journey in freshly burned barrels.
Whisky Goldwaescher Pure Rye
The attachment to the region is what makes the Goldwaescher so special. Rye grows in harsh conditions before reaching the distillery. After careful distillation in copper still, the «New Make» reveals the powerful character of Swiss rye. The Goldwaescher Pure Rye Whisky develops strong spicy aromas, which are accompanied by light roasted notes of a fine sweetness.

Notes of fresh wood combined with light toasted aromas
The finish is long, spicy with a sweet peppery note
Bouquet
It is expressed by notes of oak wood, spicy note of rye, light dried fruits and beeswax.
