La Spiriterie Française, Château du Breuil – Normandie has the ambition to become:
- a recognized creator of premium spirits « made in France »
- an actor of Spiritourism in France
Innovating with a view to respecting the environment, the company has initiated a CSR approach since the beginning of 2022.
This plan revolves around 3 axes:

The first part of this action plan is the carbon plan, which will allow the company to measure its current environmental performance.
With the support of ADEME, the French agency for ecological transition, we have started a complete carbon footprint of our company using the method Bilan Carbone®.
A complete carbon footprint includes greenhouse gas emissions from raw materials, packaging, transportation from our suppliers, manufacturing of our products, internal transportation, waste, buildings and equipment, travel home-work and professional needs of our employees, the travel of our visitors, the transport and storage of products to our customers, the use and end of life of our products. This corresponds to categories (scopes) 1.2 and 3 of the regulatory GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Balance sheet method.
The results, including a quantified assessment and the action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, will be known at the end of summer 2022.
At the same time, we will assess the quantities of carbon sequestered in our orchards, our wetlands and our parkland.
